Dr. Carol Byrd runs the Advanced Skin and Laser Center of Richmond, Virginia.

She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Richmond in 1976 and went on to receive her MD from the Medical College of Virginia in 1980. After completing an Internship and Residency in Pediatrics in 1983, she moved back to Richmond with her family.

In March 2002, Dr. Byrd became certified to use the Vasculight machine. She received training under Dr. Patrick Bitter Jr., who developed and first introduced these innovative phototherapy treatments.

Dr. Byrd has attended seminars and workshops on photorejuvenation in Baltimore, Atlanta, and Norfolk. She is excited to provide photorejuvenation and Intense Pulsed Light treatments to the Richmond area and looks forward to meeting with you for a consultation.
